Securing access to document a band in the recording studio, during soundcheck,
or backstage requires developing a level of trust that I never take for granted.
It is always a thrill to capture something that is more private.

This was a pre-concert interview with MTV at the Hard Rock in NYC. After the interview I gave Nas some prints of photos I shot at his birthday party. When he asked if he could keep them I said "of course"; he replied "Thanks G". I am now a gangster.
